Shubham’s Review of a Beautiful Journey to Andaman with Thrillophilia

Shubham Tidke had always dreamt of a honeymoon that would be a journey of discovery, adventure, and romance. When he and his wife landed in Port Blair on the 23rd of January 2025, the warm sea breeze welcomed them with open arms and promised memories that would last a lifetime. As they stepped out of the airport, hand in hand, they looked at each other as the trip was the beginning of something special.
Their first stop was Corbyn’s Cove Beach, a place where the turquoise waves gently touched the golden sand. The couple took off their sandals and let their feet sink into the warmth of the shore. "This feels like a dream," his wife whispered as they watched the waves roll in. The calmness of the beach, combined with the soft laughter of distant tourists, created an atmosphere of perfect bliss.
Later that evening, they visited the Cellular Jail, where history stood frozen in time. While walking through its dark corridors, they could almost hear the stories of the past and the silent cries of freedom fighters who had once been imprisoned there. The light and sound show brought those stories to life and left both of them deeply moved.
Dancing Waves and Hidden Paradises

The next morning, they set off for Havelock Island. The ferry ride to the island itself was an adventure as the sea stretched endlessly before them and the cool mist sprayed against their faces. His wife clung to his arm, smiling as the boat moved with the waves. "I hope we do not end up swimming to Havelock!" she teased, making Shubham laugh.
When they reached the island, it felt like stepping into a painting. The air was heavy with the scent of salt and tropical blooms, and they could hear the sound of rustling palms while walking.

Their destination for the day was Radhanagar Beach, often called one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The sand was powdery white, and the water was a light shade of blue. They spent hours just being in the moment - floating in the calm sea, taking endless photographs, and letting time slow down.
As the sun began to set over the ocean, Shubham turned to his wife and whispered, "This place... it feels like it was made for us." She smiled. At that moment, the world outside ceased to exist. It was just them, the sea, and the infinite sky.
Scuba Diving and Secrets of the Deep

Their third day in the Andaman brought an experience unlike any other. They were headed to Elephant Beach, which is known for its vibrant marine life and thrilling water activities. Shubham had read about the underwater beauty of the Andaman, but nothing could have prepared him for the magic that awaited beneath the surface.
Dressed in their scuba suits, they took deep breaths before getting into the crystal-clear waters of Neemo Reef. The world around them transformed instantly. Schools of colourful fish moved past, corals swayed gently in the currents, and for a moment, it felt like they had entered another dimension.

His wife reached out and pointed towards a graceful sea turtle gliding nearby, and her eyes were wide with wonder.
Coming out of the water, gasping and laughing, she exclaimed, "That was the most incredible thing I have ever seen!" Shubham agreed, knowing that this memory would be one they would cherish forever. They spent the rest of the afternoon lounging on the beach, sipping coconut water, and replaying the remarkable experience in their minds.
Black Rocks and Golden Sunsets

On the last day, they went to the Kalapathar Beach. It is famous for its striking contrast of dark volcanic rocks against the blue sea. The morning sun painted the sky in shades of pink and orange as they walked along the shoreline.
"It feels like time does not move here," his wife thought aloud, watching a lone fisherman push his boat into the water.

Shubham nodded. "Maybe that is why it is so special. It lets us forget the rush of life and just... be."
With heavy hearts, they knew their adventure was coming to an end. But instead of sadness, there was a quiet joy - a realisation that they had lived these days to the fullest. They had seen nature in its purest form, discovered the thrill of the unknown, and, most importantly, found a deeper connection with each other.
A Promise Under the Stars

That night, as they sat on the balcony of their hotel in Port Blair and gazed at the star-studded sky, Shubham reached for his wife’s hand. "This trip... it was perfect. But it is just the beginning. There are so many places left to explore, so many adventures waiting for us."
She smiled. "As long as we are together, every journey will be special."
The next morning, as they boarded their flight back home, they carried countless stories of laughter and love, adventures and quiet moments, and a truly unforgettable honeymoon with them.
