Ravi was scared.

After talking endless times about a Bali honeymoon, saving multiple itineraries and imagining their experiences on the beaches of Kuta, Ravi was now worried that trip would also get shelved like the hundred others before it. Rather than diving straight into sightseeing, they spent their first day unwinding, embracing Ubud's slower pace, and enjoying the quiet comfort of their surroundings. 

Their first full day immersed them in the cultural heart of Bali. Travelling privately through Ubud, they admired the cascading Tegenungan Waterfall before visiting the sacred Tirta Empul Temple, where centuries-old purification rituals continue to this day. The adventure continued with the iconic Bali Jungle Swing, offering sweeping views of forests and rice terraces, followed by a professional photoshoot that captured some of their favourite moments together. It was a day that effortlessly blended culture, nature, and memories they would carry long after the journey ended. 

Highland Adventures and Coastal Evenings 

The third day brought a change of scenery as Ravi and Dhanlaxmi checked out of Ubud and set off for a day filled with adventure before moving to Kuta. 

Their private excursion began with a 90-minute ATV ride through muddy trails, forest tracks, and Bali's tropical countryside. For Ravi, it felt like stepping into a real-life version of Temple Run, a thrilling contrast to the slower, more relaxed pace of the previous two days. 

Along the way, they stopped at the iconic Handara Gate, one of Bali's most recognisable landmarks, before continuing to Kuta for the next chapter of their honeymoon. Swapping Ubud's lush highlands for Kuta's lively beachside atmosphere gave them a chance to experience two distinct sides of Bali, with seamless private transfers making the transition effortless. 

Coastal Adventures and Clifftop Sunsets 

Their fourth day revealed Bali's adventurous side as Ravi and Dhanlaxmi headed to Tanjung Benoa Beach for an exciting morning by the sea. From soaring above the coastline while parasailing to speeding across the water on a jet ski and laughing through a banana boat ride, the experiences added a thrilling dimension to their honeymoon.

Later, the pace slowed at the dramatic Uluwatu Temple, where they wandered through the centuries-old cliffside complex, taking in sweeping ocean views and crashing waves below. The contrast between the morning's adventure and the evening's tranquillity made it one of the most memorable days of their journey. 

By the time their last full day in Ubud arrived, Ravi found himself reflecting on a dream he had once spoken of for years. Bali had always been one of those destinations he imagined visiting someday, and now every place they had explored and every experience they had shared felt like the fulfilment of that long-awaited goal. 

But what made it truly worthwhile was getting to experience it with Dhanlaxmi, exactly how they had pictured it together.

Beyond Bali's Coast: A Day in Nusa Penida 

A full-day excursion to Nusa Penida gave Ravi and Dhanlaxmi a chance to experience a different side of Bali. After a scenic speedboat ride from Sanur, they explored the island’s striking western coastline, known for its limestone cliffs that towered over them and crystal-clear waters. Seeing the iconic T-Rex-shaped cliffs of Kelingking Beach with their own eyes was a moment Ravi had been looking forward to long before the trip began. 

Their island adventure continued with visits to Broken Beach and Angel's Billabong, two of Nusa Penida's most iconic natural landmarks. A complimentary snorkelling session gave them the chance to experience the island from beneath the surface, where vibrant marine life thrived in the clear waters. Looking back, it was the effortless blend of dramatic landscapes, ocean experiences, and quiet moments together that made the day so memorable.
