Prakash’s Dazzling Dubai Family Adventure with Thrillophilia

Prakash’s Dazzling Dubai Family Adventure with Thrillophilia

It all started one evening when I called over my two best friends, along with their families, for dinner. Our conversation, as expected, revolved around work and upcoming business plans. After what felt like an eternity to her, my wife sighed and said, “Do you three ever talk about something other than work?”

After a brief pause, we realised she was right and how our life had become so monotonous.

“Why don’t we plan a family trip?” one of my friends suggested, trying to divert the topic.

And that sparked an idea! With our wives enthusiastically nodding and kids cheering in the background, we decided it was time. After hours of debates (ps: hilarious arguments) over destinations, Dubai and Abu Dhabi emerged as the winners.

One of my friends found Thrillophilia online and, without any delay, connected with their associate, Praduman Singh. From the first call itself, he was incredibly patient with our never-ending questions-

“Are there kid-friendly activities?” My friend’s wife asked. “Is there Indian food available?” My wife added. Impressively, Praduman managed to address all our concerns and helped us book a customized ‘Dubai & Abu Dhabi’ package that suited our big group of 11.

The excitement was palpable as we boarded the flight. “Guys, remember, this trip is not just for sightseeing. It’s about bonding,” my friend said dramatically, to which my friend’s son replied, “Yeah, bonding with Ferrari World!”

Abu Dhabi: Cityscapes and Waterpark Adventures

Our Abu Dhabi city tour started from the iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. No kidding, but the intricate architecture of the mosque was something I’d never seen before. Even the kids, who are usually glued to their gadgets, seemed genuinely fascinated. “Is this a palace or a mosque?” my daughter asked with wonder.

But the real highlight of the day was Yas Waterpark. It was like a dreamland for kids and adults alike. We raced each other on water slides, splashed around in the wave pools, and, in the end, floated lazily along the river. My other friend who claims he’s scared of heights, screamed louder than the kids on the high-speed water slide.

“Dad, you screamed like a baby!” his son teased, and the rest of us couldn’t stop laughing. The younger kids loved the kiddie pools, while the wives took a break lounging by the water. By the end of the day, we were soaked, sun-kissed, and grinning ear to ear.

Warner Bros. and Ferrari World

Day two in Abu Dhabi was all about fun and adrenaline. Stepping inside the world of Warner Bros. was like getting transported into a magical universe. The kids were literally on the seventh cloud to meet their favorite characters. My friend couldn’t resist posing with Bugs Bunny, and his wife couldn’t stop laughing at his goofy grin.

Ferrari World was simply the cherry on top. While my friend and I gathered the courage to try the Formula Rossa (the world’s fastest roller coaster), the wives cheered us on from the ground.

“This is insane!” I shouted as we bolted at lightning speed. My other friend, on the other hand, opted for a tamer ride, and his excuse? “I’m the responsible one, keeping an eye on the kids.”

And, my goodness, the little ones loved the junior rides, while the older kids couldn’t get enough of the race simulators. The day ended with us buying a lot of souvenirs—Ferrari caps and shirts for everyone.

Dubai: Skylines and Dhow Cruise Nights

Our Dubai city tour began with a visit to the iconic Burj Khalifa. Standing on the observation deck, all of us were busy soaking in the surreal views.

“This is beyond beautiful,” my wife said, holding my hand.

Another two really amazing attractions we covered were the Museum of the Future and Aya Universe. Both of these were futuristic wonders that left everyone impressed, especially the kids.

The Lost Chambers Aquarium at Atlantis was another hit. The kids were mesmerised by the marine life, while my friend kept joking about finding Nemo. “Found him!” he’d yell every time he saw a clownfish.

The day ended on a dreamy note with the Dhow Cruise at Marina. The sparkling skyline, the gentle breeze, and the delicious buffet made it magical. One of my friend’s wife couldn’t stop gushing, “This is like a Bollywood movie scene!” The kids danced on the deck while the adults enjoyed some much-needed relaxation.

Thrills Amidst the Dunes

Our desert safari was the perfect finale to an already epic trip. The dune bashing had us holding onto our seats and screaming in delight. “Is this a roller coaster or a car?” My friend joked as the jeep sped down a steep dune.

The camel ride was a hit with the kids, and the traditional Bedouin camp experience was fascinating. We tried sandboarding, and let’s just say we weren’t pros, but the laughter made it worth it. The evening ended with a cultural show featuring mesmerising belly dancing and fire performances.

“Who knew a desert could be so lively?” my friend added, digging into the delicious barbecue spread.

Farewell to an Incredible Journey

As we packed our bags, there was a bittersweet feeling. The trip had brought our families closer, created memories we’d cherish forever, and given us countless stories to laugh about.

Thrillophilia, especially Praduman Singh, had been instrumental in making this trip seamless and memorable. From the smooth bookings to the well-planned itinerary, everything exceeded our expectations.

“Next year, Europe?” my friend suggested as we waited at the airport. My friend chimed in, “As long as it’s with this gang, I’m in!”
