A City of Lights, Rides & Memories: Rohit and Krupali's Singapore Trip with Thrillophilia
They had talked about Singapore for years – sometimes casually over dinner, sometimes with dreamy screenshots saved on their phones. For Rohit and Krupali, the city wasn’t just a place; it had become a small dream they kept pushing for “later”. Life would happen, plans would change, and the trip kept moving further down the line. But this January, they finally decided, “No more waiting. Let’s tick Singapore off our bucket list.”
From the moment their plane landed, both felt that familiar mix of excitement and nervousness that only a long-awaited trip can create.
It wasn’t loud or dramatic, just a quiet realisation that they had given themselves something they truly wanted. And Singapore welcomed them exactly the way they had imagined: clean, warm, shining, and surprisingly comforting.
First Night: Where Adventure Started – The Night Safari
Their first evening set the tone for the whole trip. After checking into the hotel, they rested briefly before heading out for the Night Safari, something they had always heard about but never pictured this closely.
The tram ride felt like entering a different world. As the darkness wrapped around the open spaces and the animals appeared in dim, natural lighting, they found themselves whispering without meaning to. Rohit kept saying, “This doesn’t feel like a zoo… this feels real.”
Krupali loved the silence broken only by animal sounds; it felt peaceful, wild, and oddly grounding. They watched the fire dance show, amazed at how energetic and dramatic it was, and then sat for the animal show, wide-eyed like kids.
By the time they returned to the hotel, she said, “If the first night felt this magical, imagine the next three days.”
A City That Feels Like a Painting – Singapore City Tour & Gardens by the Bay
The next morning began with their Singapore city sightseeing tour, which helped them understand what makes this city so admired worldwide. Seeing Merlion Park in person felt surreal – something they had only seen in wallpapers and Instagram reels.

Rohit kept taking photos, trying to capture the skyline from different angles.
The Helix Bridge was another highlight. “It looks like something from the future,” Krupali said, and she wasn’t wrong. From Chinatown to the Esplanade Theatres and the Civic District, the tour gave them the feeling that the city wasn’t just modern; it was built with emotion, structure, and thoughtfulness.
But nothing prepared them for Gardens by the Bay.
The Cloud Forest, with its mist and towering indoor waterfall, felt like stepping into a soft dream. She loved how cool the air was, how peaceful the whole place felt. The Supertree Observatory gave them one of their favourite views of the entire trip – a moment where they just stood quietly, taking it all in.
Rohit later told her, “This is the kind of place that makes you realise how creative humans can be.”
A Full Day of Fun – Universal Studios Singapore
Universal Studios was the day they turned into children again. From the moment they walked through the Hollywood zone, their energy felt different: lighter, brighter, and filled with excitement. They enjoyed the rides in Sci-Fi City, laughed their hearts out in Far Far Away, and loved walking around the New York and Ancient Egypt zones like they were sets from actual films.

For Krupali, Madagascar was unexpectedly charming, while Rohit’s favourite moments were the thrilling rides that made him shout, laugh, and almost lose his voice.
They ended the day tired, happy, and with that lovely sense of “We really lived today.”
A Beautiful Ending – Sentosa Island, Cable Cars & Wings of Time
Their last main day was everything Singapore is known for – polished, scenic, entertaining, and unforgettable.
The cable car ride from Mount Faber gave them an aerial view of the city and the blue water below. Krupali held Rohit’s hand tightly when the cabin rose high, and he teased her gently, saying, “Look down, it’s beautiful.” Eventually, she did – and THAT became one of her favourite moments.

At the SEA Aquarium, they walked slowly through the underwater tunnels, mesmerised by the stingrays, vibrant fish, and the enormous viewing panel that made them feel as though they were inside the ocean.
But the most magical part?
Wings of Time.
Watching the lights, water, and sound come together against the night sky felt like an emotional curtain call for their holiday. “We couldn’t have asked for a better ending,” she whispered as the final burst of lights faded.
Why This Trip Meant More – And Why Thrillophilia Played a Big Part
For Rohit and Krupali, this wasn’t just a holiday; it was a promise finally kept. A dream finally lived. Singapore had been sitting on their bucket list for so long that experiencing it together felt like a quiet victory. A reminder that life becomes softer, sweeter, and richer when you make time for the things you truly want.
And throughout the trip, one thing stood out: everything felt smooth. From pickups to tickets, from assistance to timing, there was never a moment of confusion or stress.
They said several times, “Thank God we booked it through Thrillophilia.”
Whether it was the Night Safari tickets, the Gardens by the Bay access, Universal Studios admission, the Sentosa cable car passes, or the Wings of Time entry – everything was already sorted, leaving them free to simply enjoy.
If anything, this trip made them realise how important a well-planned itinerary is when travelling to a place filled with experiences. And Thrillophilia made that possible in a way that felt effortless, reliable, and comforting – especially for a couple ticking a dream destination off their list.
