Australia Trip Review: Manjiri and Kirti’s Experience with Thrillophilia

Manjiri and Kirti had always spoken about visiting Australia one day. It started as a simple wish during college, then turned into a serious plan years later when they finally felt ready for a long, refreshing break. But when they actually sat down to plan the trip, everything felt overwhelming. Flight prices fluctuated every hour, hotel bookings confused them, activity passes had strange conditions, and the itinerary never looked balanced, no matter how many times they tried.

One evening, after yet another stressful planning session, Kirti sighed and said, “I don’t think we can manage this alone.”

Manjiri looked at her and replied, “Let’s look for a package, something organised. Otherwise, we’ll keep postponing.”

That’s when they found Thrillophilia.

They browsed through multiple Australia packages and were surprised by how organised everything looked. The inclusions made sense, the itinerary looked well-paced, and the pricing wasn’t intimidating like many other platforms. Within two days, the final decisions were made, and the booking was done. And suddenly, the impossible trip became real.

Sydney and the Beginning of a New Journey

Their trip began in Sydney, a city that felt both exciting and comforting at the same time. As soon as they stepped outside the airport, a representative greeted them and guided them to their transfer. The hotel was clean, central and exactly what they needed after a long flight.

Instead of rushing, they took the first day slowly. They walked to Circular Quay, watched ferries moving across the water and stood quietly in front of the Sydney Opera House. Manjiri whispered, “We’ve seen this in pictures since childhood, and now we’re here.”

That evening, they ended up at Darling Harbour, enjoying gelato and watching the sunset paint the sky orange. It was a simple first day, but it set the tone for the rest of the journey.

Blue Mountains and the First Big Adventure

Their second day was packed but thrilling. The Blue Mountains tour took them to Echo Point, where the Three Sisters rock formation stood tall against endless valleys. The blue haze drifting through the forest made everything feel unreal.

At Scenic World, they experienced the cableway and the world’s steepest railway. Kirti grabbed Manjiri’s arm while descending the steep tracks and laughed nervously. “I didn’t sign up for this level of adventure!” she shouted, but her smile said she enjoyed it.

By evening, they returned to Sydney tired but happy, already discussing which photos to post first.

Gold Coast: Sunshine and Speed

The next morning, they flew to the Gold Coast. The moment they saw the beaches from the aeroplane window, both of them gasped. “Now this looks like Australia,” Manjiri said.

After reaching their hotel, they spent the afternoon exploring Surfers Paradise. Golden sand, turquoise water and street performers added so much energy to the place.

Their first full day in Gold Coast was spent at Warner Bros. Movie World. They screamed on roller coasters, clicked photos with characters and tried almost every ride. One moment, Manjiri said, “I think I can handle this,” and the next moment, she was shouting her lungs out on the HyperCoaster.

The following day was SeaWorld, which became Kirti’s favourite. She had always loved marine animals, and watching dolphins perform left her emotional. “Can we stay here a little longer?” she asked more than once.

Melbourne: Culture, Coffee and Coastal Wonders

Their final stop was Melbourne, a city full of personality. They explored Federation Square, walked through graffiti-filled laneways and tried Melbourne’s iconic coffee. Both agreed it was the best coffee they had ever tasted.

On their Great Ocean Road tour, they admired one breathtaking view after another. The highlight was the Twelve Apostles, standing tall against the roaring ocean. The cliffs, the wind and the endless coastline made the moment unforgettable.

On the way back, Kirti said softly, “This trip is changing something in me. I am glad we came.”

A Trip That Flowed Smoothly

On their last day, as they headed to the airport, they looked back on every moment. The transfers had been on time, the hotels were exactly as promised, and every activity included in the package turned out to be worth it.

Most importantly, they appreciated how Thrillophilia’s team handled their questions. Whether it was clarifying internal flights or sharing exact pickup times, someone was always available to guide them. They especially remembered how their destination expert patiently helped them rearrange small parts of the itinerary without making them feel like a burden.

As Kirti said, “We were stressed before the trip even began, but once it started, everything felt effortless.”

A Journey They Will Always Remember

By the end, Manjiri and Kirti felt they had made the right decision. Their Australia trip had everything they hoped for: adventure, nature, cities, beaches and time spent together in a new country. It was the kind of trip that stays with you long after you return home.

And as they boarded their flight back, Manjiri smiled and said, “If we ever travel again, we know exactly who to book with.”
